Bo Diddley, one of the fathers of rock ‘n’ roll, died today at the age of 79. His rep told the AP that he passed away from heart failure at his home in Archer, FL. Bo suffered a major heart attack last August and a stroke three months before that.  The legendary singer and performer, was known for his homemade square guitar, dark glasses and black hat.  Diddley was an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, had a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, and received a lifetime achievement award in 1999 at the Grammy Awards.  Rest in peac, Bo!
