David Beckham has spent seven-figures on a California wine vineyard as a gift to his beloved Victoria. The Sun claims he bought the winery last month as a birthday gift and the two plan to make wine with help from a hired team. Becks arranged a birthday drink — from a bottle with Victoria’s name on the label to break the news of the gift. A source said Posh and Becks plan to keep their wine for themselves and friends, and they aren’t planning on selling it.

A source said, “The Beckhams became wine buffs when he played in Spain. The vineyard went down a storm with Victoria. She was delighted.”

OK! Magazine is reporting that the scuttlebutt in France is that Angelina Jolie has given birth. French media outlets are saying she delivered this past Sunday in a Catholic clinic in the Aix-En-Provence region of France.

The story is that Angelina had her doctor flown in from California for this very special occasion. She reportedly named the twin girls, Isla Marcheline Jolie-Pitt and Amelie Jane Jolie-Pitt.

The babies will be the fifth and sixth children for Angelina Jolie and BRAD PITT, whose family consists of Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3 and Shiloh, 2.

Dustin Hoffman recently said that Angelina was due in August so there is reason for suspicion. Keep in mind the false wedding reports in March that claimed Brad and Angelina had wed in their adopted city of New Orleans, of course this rumor isn’t coming from Star Magazine.

No comment yet from the couple of their reps.

Update: ET is confirming the births indirectly from a “source” close to the family. Not really a certainty yet!

Update 2: As I thought it appears to be a false rumor.  Jolie’s spokesperson said: “Angelina has not given birth. She is fine, enjoying her home and her family in France.”

The 60 or so people invited to the nuptials know only to wear evening attire and wait for a car to whisk them to a secret location in L.A. Rush & Molly report friends of the bride-to-be tell that may already be pregnant. To add to the drama, according to the same sources: “They had to tell Denise when it was, because they wanted the girls to come, but she doesn’t know where it’ll be.”Who knows? She may even crash the event with a camera crew.”

Also the newlyweds to be may already have a jump on being a family:

“They’ve been busy working on having a baby,They have been for a couple of months. It’d be great if they had a son, because Charlie already has three daughters.”

Shirley Manson has landed a regular role on television series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the show was the highest-rated new scripted series of the 2007-2008 season.

Author J.K. Rowling is writing a prequel to her best-selling Harry Potter series to be auctioned for charity.

Reportedly at just 800 words, it may lack some of the detail fans of the boy wizard might be hoping for., experts believe it could fetch big money, since other autographed works by the blockbuster author have sold for millions of dollars.

Rowling’s hand-written prequel, signed by the author, will be auctioned alongside works by other famous writers to raise cash for a dyslexia charity.

A 93-word storycard from Rowling, which referred to the book “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,” sold in 2002 for $53,000. Rowling later produced seven hand-written copies of a new work, “The Tales of Beedle the Bard,” one of which sold for $3.9 million in 2007.The card on which the story is written measuring 5.75 by 8.25 inches is signed “JK Rowling 2008.” The author signs off with the message: “From the prequel I am not working on — but that was fun!”

Alongside Rowling, 13 other authors invited to contribute to the June 10 auction include Margaret Atwood, Sebastian Faulks, Nick Hornby, and Tom Stoppard. A book featuring all 13 cards will go on sale in August.

All profits from the book will benefit Dyslexia Action and English PEN, a writers’ association, Waterstone’s said.
