Patrick Swayze bravely living life to its fullest

Patrick Swayze, continues to bravely battle pancreatic cancer. Swayze, 55, announced in March that he was undergoing chemotherapy and gastrointestinal surgery to fight the vicious disease. He’s in the fight of his life, and it shows but Patrick continues to live his life to the fullest under the circumstances.

Patrick and his Lisa Niemi, watched the Los Angeles Lakers play the San Antonio Spurs in the second game of the NBA Western Conference finals this weekend. He looks gaunt as you would expect but wore an expression of grim determination as he stepped out with his wife, Friday.

The Globe and other sources claim that Swayze and his wife, Lisa Niemi, recently renewed their wedding vows in front of a small group of loved ones at their New Mexico ranch. The couple will celebrate their 33rd wedding anniversary in June, and the actor is determined to live up to that date and beyond.
The Globe source insists the renewed wedding vows were very special for the couple: “It was very important to him (Swayze) to express his love and commitment to Lisa. They both mean the world to one another.”
The Globe for what it’s worth, recently revealed Swayze has drawn up his will to include plans for his own funeral, and he has settled all his affairs,  just in case he suddenly loses his cancer battle.

Officially though, his doctor at Stanford University Medical Center has said that the brave star is a fighter and responding well to treatment.

He may even be asked to go back in front of the camera. Rumors swirled at the Cannes Film Festival that Swayze could be asked to reprise his role in a sequel to the 1991 hit “Point Break.”
