Jodie Foster affair with Cynthia Mort caused break-up with Cydney Bernard?
Jodie Foster cheated on her long-time partner Cydney Bernard, with another woman, Cynthia Mort, according to the National Enquirer. Mort is the former partner of thirtysomething actress Melanie Mahron, with whom she has two children (just like Foster)!
Jodie apparently first met Cindy, 51, a producer and screenwriter with many tv credits, while working on her 2007 film The Brave One.
During the Brave One it appears Foster and Mort spent a lot of time together. According to a Variety article where they interviewed Foster 9 months ago:
“Foster insisted on laboring over the script with writer Cynthia Mort for six months before letting producer Joel Silver (an old chum she has never worked with before) go after Jordan, their first choice for a director. “There was something there that I was drawn to,” says Foster, “but it needed a drastic rewrite.”
The affair between Foster and Cindy Mort has allegedly continued since then and eventually caused the rift in Foster’s relationship with Bernard. According to sources, the 55-year-old Cydney Bernard is still living with Jodie but their romance is over.
