Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz honeymoon in the basement

No surprise that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson
Pete Wentz called into Ryan Seacrest’s show on KIIS-FM this morning to discuss his wedding and related stuff. Pete said that Ashlee “legally is a Wentz … I don’t know what she’ll do with her stage name, that’s up to her. She hasn’t decided that.”
Pete also volunteered that the newlyweds did indeed sign a pre-nup. I’m surprised he didn’t talk about their wedding night too?
The newlyweds are skipping a honeymoon for now. Pete said they are just hanging out in the basement in their home in L.A.: “We got some blow-up palm trees. A little fake-n-bake tanning booth.” They have no choice because Papa Joe locks them down there and only lets them come out for appropriate public appearances, hence the phone call.
And when Ryan asked about baby names, Pete responded, “Ryan, this baby has not been confirmed. The only thing I’m confirming now is that we’re in the basement on our honeymoon with these blow-up palm trees.“
Seacrest also probed on rumors that Jessica Simpson split with Tony Romo:
Interestingly Pete ducked the question with: “I don’t know anything about what’s going on with them,” he said. “I’m so busy clearing up my own rumors!”
Well Ryan Seacrest took his best shot on those last two questions and Pete artfully side stepped. Well it’s better then lying.
