The Cruise family makes a public showing

Tom Cruise, wife Katie Holmes and and kids Isabella, 15, Connor, 13 and Suri, 2 in tow, watch David Beckham play soccer this past weekend. Tom and Katie also did a bit of babysitting for Victoria and David, watching over the kids, Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 5, and Cruz, 3.
Sadly for David and his celebrity supporters the Bulls defeated the Galaxy 2-1. Speaking of defeats, Tom’s movie Valkyrie’s release date has been pushed back again.
The movie, based on a true story in which Cruise plays a Nazi planning to kill Adolph Hitler, had already been pushed to autumn despite the initial release being set for this summer. Now it’s set for sometime in 2009.
The movie has had a lot of issues, including damaged film, lukewarm test screenings, and concern over Tom’s German accent. Straight to DVD perhaps?
