Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson have supposedly gotten engaged, according to News of the World. This comes a year after Owen tried to off himself after their first break-up. Happy anniversary! Kate and Owen first got together in 2006 after working on, You, Me And Dupree. The romance was blamed for Kate’s split from husband Chris Robinson, lead singer of The Black Crowes.
In March of this year, Owen and Kate rekindled their romance. Now Owen has supposedly proposed to Kate in Miami and wants to marry her next year.

A source told The News of the World, “Kate supported Owen during his low patch and that proved to him she’s the woman he wants to be with for ever. He picked out the ring and went for the biggest one he could find. He was nervous about proposing but Kate was thrilled and the whole thing was really emotional.”

Kate, was also seen flashing a huge diamond ‘engagement’ ring outside a Boston restaurant on Thursday. While a friend of the couple has supposedly verified the engagement, there has as of yet no official word from either Kate, Owen or their reps.

Update: Representatives for Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson have denied reports that the couple are engaged.

Kate’s publicist dismissed the speculation: “She’s shooting a movie called Bride Wars, which explains the ring. She’s definitely not engaged.”
