Patrick Swayze recent update
Posted on May 5th, 2008 by Hot Momma
Patrick Swayze is very ill now but he’s still trying to live life as normally as possible.
He ventured out to the shops near his ranch on the outskirts of Los Angeles this past week, where he appeared grey and gaunt as the ravages of the disease and months of treatment have taken it’s toll. There are photos but I think the man deserves his dignity.
The 55-year-old, is battling pancreatic cancer, and reports are he has recently had emergency surgery as the cancer had spread and part of his stomach was removed.
While the star of Ghost and Dirty Dancing continues to fight on, reports suggest he is also preparing for the end, apparently transferring his property worth millions to his wife of 32 years, Lisa Niemi.
A friend was quoted as saying: “Patrick told his family he’s not giving up, but he wanted to make sure everything like the will was in place in the event that his health began to fail quickly and he didn’t have time to take care of things.”

Glad you don’t show the pictures as he is now. He deserves his privacy and dignity during his fight for life.
My mom just passed away from the same disease. She had the “whipple” surgery 3 years ago (not sure if that’s what he had), it’s a MAJOR surgery! She had a rough time for about 6 months then she came back and gave us another 2 1/2 years. She definately wasn’t in as good of health as Patrick was before the surgery… So I’m going to keep the positive thoughts that he’s going to be just fine…. He’s a fighter and he has a world full of people pulling for him too!
Patrick and his whole family are wonderful people, I use to work for an insurance company that insured them years ago…. Just normal people with a great out look on life… My prayers and thoughts are with them all… DON’T GIVE UP!!!
Dear Patrick ,I am praying for you. Everyone is different. So keep your chin up and always keep positive. That will help. Both my parents died of lung cancer a year in a half a part. I am only 40 years old. Mom died in 6 weeks at the age of 68. Dad was sick 2 months later. He died at the age of 69. I have no kids so they were my very best friends besides my husband, But different bond. I hope that so many people are praying for you It can go away. I heard of those things happening. Never give up. Alot of people care. Love Lisa Kennedy
I HOPE THE BEST FOR YOU I HAVE TO SAY UR VERY BRAVE.YOU HAVE TO BE POSTIVE AND PRAY A LOT AND HOPE FOR A MIRACLE.
