Russell Brand misses Letterman appearance but ‘no worries’

Russell Brand flew to New York on Wednesday to film the biggest interview of his career.
But the British actor, a rehabbed sex addict and star of the new film Forgettng Sarah Marshall, was turned away by US Homeland Security on Wednesday because of some Visa issue.
The immigration paperwork foul-up caused him to miss his big debut appearance on David Letterman.
After a painful eight-hour delay he boarded the same plane to go back home.
But to console himself Russell did what he knows best, living up to his reputation as the UK Sun’s two-time Shagger of The Year (I will let you look up shagging for yourself if your not familar with the British term). He worked his magic on a lovely blond Virgin Atlantic stewardess serving on his flight back home. When they arrived back, she jumped in his limo at Heathrow for the ride back to his North London pad and an overnight stay.
The Letterman show will happen for Russell eventually and meanwhile Judd Apatow, who also made comedy hits Superbad and Knocked Up, and is the main man behind Forgetting Sarah Marshall, gave the actor some great news.
He has just confirmed that Russell will play his first leading role in Apatow’s next Hollywood comedy. It wouldn’t surprise me if he becomes a big star soon.

WHAT! You don’t say “Shag” in America
I love Russell and had no clue that had happened so when I was watching letterman I was really upset that he wasn’t on! I do hope that he becomes famous here in the USA!
