Jimmy Fallen to take the helm for Conan O’Brien

Posted on April 25th, 2008 by Hot Momma

Jimmy Fallon appears to be the guy to take over Conan O’Brien’s “Late Night” chair in 2009. Yesterday, published reports said Fallon has signed, or soon will sign, a deal with NBC. Conan is leaving “Late Night” to take over for Jay Leno in May 2009. Jay Leno may replace “Nightline” on ABC, pushing Jimmy Kimmel to 12:30am.

NBC will reportedly make the announcement during their fall ‘08 presentation on May 11th or 12th. For months, Fallon has been widely considered the top choice to succeed O’Brien when he steps down next year.
