Cate Blanchett delivers 3rd son to the family

Oscar-winning Australian actress Cate Blanchett gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Sunday.

Ignatius Martin Upton is the third child for the actress and playwright Andrew Upton.

Ignatius weighed in at 7 lbs 15 ounces.  I don’t know about that name.  I guess it has kind of an intellectual ring to it?  But I bet people will call him Iggy.

He is the third boy for the couple, who already have two sons – Dashiell, 6, and Roman, 3.

Blanchett and Upton live in the beautiful city of Sydney and share co-artistic director responsibilities at the Sydney Theatre Company.
