Axl Rose finishes work on ‘Chinese Democracy’?

Published on April 11, 2008 at 1:05 AM

Guns N Roses or better said Axl Rose has reportedly finished work on ‘Chinese Democracy’, the album that he has been working on for the past 14+ years.  This could be good news for Dr. Pepper fans. The company announced that everyone in America, except estranged GNR bandmates Slash and Buckhead, will receive a free can of Dr. Pepper if Axl releases “Chinese Democracy” in 2008.

Geffen Records, the band’s record label, have confirmed they have received a finished copy of the album, and are currently haggling over money and rights issues with Rose, reports Therockradio.com.

The album is reported to have cost in excess of $13 million to produce.

It is rumored that a reality TV show is set to be broadcast with footage of Rose and the other current members of Guns N Roses as they go about the recording of the album.
Supposedly a “major music-orientated television channel” is behind the proposal.

Do you think ‘Chinese Democracy’ will be any good, or just way over cooked?
