Jessica Lange resorts to plastic surgery to reinvigorate her acting career?

The National Enquirer recently speculated, with photos and commentary from a Michigan plastic surgeon, that Jessica Lange has undergone plastic surgery. But the tune up didn’t necessarily result in a change for the better. Above is a picture of Jessica Lange from 2003 (on the left) and a picture from a few weeks ago.
Lange’s publicist denies:
“It’s absolutely not true,” Lange’s PR rep Carrie Gordon said. “And Jessica will not comment on it because it’s not true.”
The tabloid asked Detroit-area plastic surgeon Dr. Tony Youn to analyze before and after photos of Lange who has suspiciously smooth skin.
Youn gave the Enquirer specific observations about Lange’s “overly arched brows,” and unnatural Catwoman-like appearance.
But haven’t Lange’s eyes always had a cat-like quality?
Dr.Youn responded: “To an extent she has. Are her eyes a little more tilted than the average person’s? Yes. But not to the extent that we see now in her. There are a number of changes now that just are not what we would attribute to normal aging changes. Usually as people age the corners of the eyes tilt downward, and they tilt more downward as you get older, not upward.”
Lange has the kind of beauty that perhaps should have been left in the hands of Mother Nature. We don’t see Jessica Lange in more movies perhaps because of her age and possibly she’s panicked about not getting roles.” It seems ironic when an actress of the stature of Jessica Lange, one of the classiest and least vain celebrities, has perhaps resorted to cosmetic surgery to reinvigorate her acting career.
