The family of permanently disabled John Graziano, has finally filed suit against the Bollea family. The civil lawsuit cites three counts of negligence against Terry Bollea (Hulk Hogan and Nick’s father), one against Linda Bollea (Nick’s mother), one against Nick Bollea, and a final count against Daniel Jacobs, the driver of the Dodge Viper that Nick was street racing against. The crash left Graziano, 22, in a permanent vegetative state. Graziano’s family says he will require medical care for the rest of his life.
One of the reasons fo the lag time before the civil suit was filed is because the rule of thumb is to wait at least six months after an accident to see if the injured person has reached maximum medical improvement. Then a life planner will determine the cost of the person’s future needs/costs.

The Graziano family is claiming in the lawsuit that Terry and Linda Bollea should have known that their son was a reckless driver, and were also aware that their son was drinking on the day of the crash.

Nick Bollea also faces a felony charge of reckless driving with serious bodily injury. Since the crash Hulk Hogan and Linda Bollea  have separated and filed for divorce.
