The husband of soul singer Corinne Bailey Rae was found dead of a suspected drugs overdose.

Jason Rae, a saxophonist with the Haggis Horns, was found dead at a flat in Leeds (England).

West Yorkshire police said: “At 3.15pm yesterday the body of a 31-year-old man was found at a flat in the Hyde Park area.

“A 32-year-old man was arrested for supplying controlled substances and has since been released on police bail.”

A post-mortem was reportedly inconclusive and police are waiting for the results of toxicology tests.  The Daily Mail reports that Corrine was not in the apartment at the time when her husband’s body was found.  Corrine is best known perhaps for her songs “Put Your Records On” and “Like A Star.”

Too much addiction and substance abuse out there.  Entertainers need to find some better ‘recreational activities’.
