Published on March 21, 2008 at 10:43 AM

Oscar winner Buck Henry has been diagnosed with cancer, according to the NY Post. The writer/comedian, Henry, who co-produced “Get Smart” and wrote for “Saturday Night Live,” won an Academy Award for his screenplay adaptation of The Graduate in 1967, is suffering from an unspecified type of cancer. He recently has been a Daily Show contributor.

A message was allegedly sent to his friends on social networking site MySpace to inform them of the diagnosis. His agent so far declined to comment on Henry’s condition. Our thoughts and prayers to Buck and his family.
