Published on March 20, 2008 at 8:31 AM

Winona Ryder, may have dodged a serious scandel for shoplifting again. The 36 year old actress, was reportedly shopping at Hollywood CVC Pharmacy recently and set off the security alarm. When she was checked by security, it was allegedly discovered that she had unpaid items (make-up) in her possession. Perhaps an easy mistake to make but in Winona’s case not a good situation.

Because, The Girl Interrupted actress made headlines in 2002, when she was convicted of shoplifting $6,000 in clothing from Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills.
Ryder received three years probation and 480 hours of community service as a result of her 2002 conviction. Ryder’s career was on the fast track back in 2002 and has cooled considerably in the ensuing six years.

National Enquirer reported that a CVC store employee told them of the incident. The employee is quoted as saying:

Winona had a bag of stuff, but she set off the theft alarm when she left the store. When a security guard stopped her, he found make up she had not paid for. When asked about the make up, she said that she didn’t know how that happened. We took unpaid items back and she left the store.”

Charges were not pressed against Ryder and her publicist denied that the situation ever occurred. When National Enquirer reporters informed the publicist that they had received confirmation of the story from CVC Pharmacy, the rep. indicated she would check into it.
