Thomas Jane busted for drunk driving

Thomas Jane who starred in the most recent movie adaptation of The Punisher comic books was arrested early this morning for DUI. A little early on the St. Patrick’s Day celebration? Jane, whose real name is Thomas Elliot, was nabbed in Kern County, Calif. by police officers. 
TMZ reports Jane was stopped in a late-model Maserati for driving at “an extremely high rate of speed” on I-5. He allegedly failed several field sobriety tests, including a breathalyzer. Cops also say he was also driving with a suspended license. He has been charged with DUI and driving with a blood alcohol level above .08% — both misdemeanors.

A cooperative Jane was taken to jail but apparently posted bail and he’s already out. His arraignment is set for April 9th. Jane is married to ‘Medium’ actress Patricia Arquette.
