Paul Newman seeing top cancer specialist?

We really hope this isn’t true but this persistant rumor has come up again. According to the NY Post, movie star Paul Newman has been seeing a top cancer expert for seven months.
The paper reports, the 83-year-old Newman has visited the New York clinic on a number of occasions with his wife Joanne Woodward.
“Joanne is there waiting for him and being very sweet with the assistants.”
Concerns about Newman’s health were first raised in January, when a report suggested that he had undergone emergency cancer surgery.
Rumors were further fuelled when he failed to attend a fundraising party for his Hole in the Wall Gang children’s charity last Monday.
His publicist said he had been “having back problems”, while Paul himself joked that he was being “treated for athlete’s foot and hair loss”.
