Eddie Murphy reveals his reasons for not seeing his daughter via Mel B.

Eddie Murphy has revealed the supposed real reason why he has never seen his 11-month-old daughter by Melanie Brown aka Scary Spice, nor plans on seeing her anytime soon. According to The National Enquirer, Eddie claims Mel told him she was on the pill, had sex only three times, and that she tricked him into getting her pregnant.(not enough bang for his buck?)
A source said,
“What was supposed to be a casual relationship ended with her having his baby and taking him to court for millions.”
Legal papers supposedly revealed that Mel B. demanded a $9 million house and living expenses for the next 18 years, in exchange for her silence while she was pregnant.
Eddie refused to meet Mel’s demands and has since refused to see the baby and the Spice Girl. She gave birth to her daughter Angel iris on April 3, 2007.
And ever since Angel’s birth, the two have been embroiled in a bitter child support battle.
Despite Mel’s public protests that Eddie won’t support Angel, the actor’s lawyers insist he paid $15,000 a month while she was pregnant and even covered her medical expenses.
Eddie claims he plans to see his daughter, Angel Iris Murphy Brown, when she’s older. “He says he will have to wait until Angel is older before he can get to know her without any interference from her mother.”

Well, I think it is a shame that any child does not her father. She needs him her whole life - not when it is convenient for him. She may have tricked him, but it takes 2 to tango. There are condoms - so he is as responsible as her.
Eddie, needs to step up to the plate and take his responsibility seriously and become a father his daughter can be proud of.
We have enough dead beat dads in the world now - giving money does not make up for time spent with your child.
