Update: Law enforcement sources revealed that Heather Locklear’s psychiatrist is the one who called 911, after speaking with her on the phone.

TMZ reports that the shrink spoke with Heather on Saturday night and was alarmed because she was “upset” and he believed she might OD on medication prescribed for depression. The call was listed with dispatch as a “suicide attempt,” but Heather was OK when they arrived so  it was reported as a false alarm (but no hoax).
TMZ reports that someone placed a 911 call claiming Heather Locklear was going to try to committ suicide. The call was not made from Heather’s house.

The fire department and two paramedics raced over to Heather’s Thousand Oaks home yesterday and quickly figured out Heather was fine. They checked out her out and found her to be responsive and left 10 minutes later.  The Fire Department officer said that if they had detected anything wrong, they would have taken Heather into custody.  Right now the call is being treated as a probable hoax.
