Even handsome movie stars strike out sometimes. Colin Farrell, was out with a couple of wingmen, at the Rose Bar in New York’s Gramercy Park Hotel when he spotted model Meghan Lowther accross the room.Â
the Irish-born Miami Vice star, 31 walked over to chat up Lowther as she was ordering a drink.
An onlooker said: “Farrell bumped into the fellow next to her and asked, ‘Who is this guy?’
“Lowther replied, ‘He’s my boyfriend.’”
According to the New York Post, Farrell then told the man: ‘You’ve got the most beautiful girl in the place, and you can’t blame a guy for trying.’
“The boyfriend replied, “‘You tried. Now get out of here.’”
Whereby Colin made a graceful retreat.
