Sex and the City’s” Cynthia Nixon has said little publicly about her long time lesbian relationship. But Cynthia made a few comments during the promotional tour for the May 30 release of the “Sex and the City” film, and excerpts appear in this week’s OK! magazine.
Nixon separated from her boyfriend of 15 years, Danny Mozes, the father of her children Samantha, 11, and Charles, 6 in 2003.  And soon began seeing Christine Marinoni, a red-headed education activist (who looks a little like Ellen DeGeneres).
Nixon, 41, told the press: “I’m in a fantastic relationship. It’s been about four years.  I’m in love with [Christine] because she’s her. If she were a man, would I be in love with her? I don’t know.” (strange comment don’t you think?)

“We shop and cook and raise children - we both pitch in.”

Nixon says her children adapted well to the new arrangement.

“They were fine,” she says of the coming out. “My son was very little, but my daughter has a gay uncle [and her godmothers] are lesbians.”
