Britney’s sons having nightmares, dad Jamie to be paid for his headache

As we reported yesterday, a judge extended the conservatorship over Britney Spears estate until July 31. For his trouble, Jamie Spears is now reportedly going to be paid $2,500 per week to act as conservator for his daughter Britney’s estate and he is also allowed to lease one vehicle. Which means that between now and July 31, he stands to take in over $50,000 for the inenviable task of watching over his troubled daughter as she tries to get her life back together and regain custody of her two sons.
Since Britney has regained limited supervised visitation with her young sons a little over a week ago, things have gone pretty well and she could end up being allowed to visit them as often as three times a week soon. However according to reports, both Sean Preston and Jayden James are having a hard time adapting to having mom back in their lives, which is of course no surprise given what they have gone through. Since the visits started again, Sean Preston has been sleeping in the same room as daddy K-Fed, because he’s been having nightmares. Preston, 2, reportedly also cried for his dad at first when Britney picked them up, but Kevin soothed him and he settled down.
The boys are confused by their mom right now and don’t have that feeling of safety that kids need. This is one of the reasons that Jamie Spears or a psychologist is required to be there for the visits at all time. Jamie is said to be very good with the boys and they love their grandpa. He has seen them consistently, often visiting them at K-Feds house when Britney couldn’t, which is really smart of him. Apparently, Britney still struggles on how to relate to the kids. She doesn’t really know how to give her sons what they need, and instead views them in terms of what she enjoys, which is dressing them up and showing them off i.e. like a girl playing with dolls. Britney is said to be working on this part of her mothering skills with her psychiatrist.” Meanwhile granddad Jamie helps on the visits playing with the boys and keeping them busy. A final tidbit mentioned is that Brit is supposedly terrified of going back into the hospital and made a deal with her family to try to make the home visits and periodic outpatient visits work. If they do, then no hospital. It’s a tough situation but I hope it all works out for the sake of Brit’s boys.
