Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe protected from death threat

Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe is being protected by four bodyguards during filming for the sixth movie in the series, Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, after he received a death threat from a stalker. The bodyguards are said to be all former Special Air Service Regiment (SAS), the principal special forces unit of the British Army hired by studio bosses protecting their star.

His every move is being watched and extrordinary measures have been put in place to protect Radcliffe, 18. He has had to switch cars three times, has been given a “chase car” to follow his vehicle, and his driver of seven years, seen as “part of the family”, has been told to stand down temporarily.

This is not the first time that Daniel has been troubled by fans of course but in a less serious situation four years ago he was approached by a woman naked except for a towel bearing his image and the slogan “nothing comes between me and Harry Potter”.
