Madonna and Guy Ritchie buy their local pub?

Update: Though this story was widely reported in the UK Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s reps are saying this story is false!
Madonna and Guy Ritchie have bought their local pub in the London’s exclusive Mayfair district.
Madge and her film director husband have paid out close to $5 million for the pub, which was built in the 1730s from their pal Greg Foreman, son of the gangster Freddie Foreman.
A friend of the singer told the Sunday People that Madge “adores” the pub, which is right around the corner from their West End home and regularly pops in to take a break from her hectic life.
“Madonna loves the beer and Guy meets all his pals down there. They have been desperate to own this place for a long time and have been making offers on it for ages. Now it has finally happened,” they continued.
Reportedly of A-listers regularly visit the watering hole including Barbra Streisand, Robert De Niro, and Al Pacino.
Guy and Madge are now reportedly deciding to transform The Punchbowl into a gastro pub or a private members club. Oh well there goes another great English pub down the drain.
