Heidi Montag releases unauthorized duet with Britney Spears?

Ryan Seacrest played a duet between Heidi Montag and Britney Spears on his KIIS-FM radio show this morning. The song is called “Dramatic” and you can listen to it here.  At first I thought this was further signs of Britney’s mental illness.  But apparently all is not as it seems, especially when the “reality” posers, Heidi and Spencer of The Hills are involved!

According to PerezHilton sources, Britney did not authorize the song’s release and she had no idea about it until Montag released it.

“Heidi and Spencer got their hands on an old demo recording of Britney’s that never made it onto any of her albums,”
“They’ve been working with a lot of producers on Heidi’s new album and one of them gave them the track. They decided to turn it into a duet instead of having Heidi re-record the song with just her vocals because they knew they’d get more press this way.”

Well it should give Heidi and Spencer the publicity and attention they crave but maybe not in the way they expect.

With that said, condolences to Heidi.   Heidi’s stepbrother Eric O’Hara, died last Thursday reportedly in a bizarre accident while working at a Colorado hotel. Eric, had just returned a month ago from serving in Iraq and Afghanistan in the 82nd Airborne Division, and was cleaning snow off the roof of the Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel when he fell to his death.
