Anne Heche to replace Jennifer Jason Leigh in “Spread”

It was announced today that Men in Trees actress Anne Heche will be replacing Jennifer Jason Leigh to star opposite Ashton Kutcher, in the indie romantic comedy film Spread. As we reported here, Jennifer was allegedly forced to withdraw from the film because she is pregnant with her first child. Spread is about a womanizer, Ashton Kutcher, and the lover he scorns now to be played by Heche. The movie is being produced by Kutcher’s Katalyst production company. David Mackenzie (Hallam Foe) is directing. Shooting is scheduled to start immediately.
