Jennifer Lopez, 38, and singer husband Marc Anthony reportedly spent a whopping $700,000 to reserve a luxurious birthing suite at the hospital. Taking no chances, Lopez had the $175,000-a-week suite reserved for three weeks before even going into labor.

JLo and Marc also shelled out $300,000 on private doctors and nurses, $300,000 on security and $100,000 on personal assistants in the run-up to the birth.

The birthing suite included white couches, a large Apple computer monitor, a private kitchen and two flat-screen TVs (one for each twin).

People Magazine reports that Jennifer Lopez has opened up a long registry list at Hollywood favorite baby boutique, Petit Tresor, and here’s some of the items on her list:

Cashmere cardigan, hat and booties – $279 each
A box of onesies – $169 each
Chelsea sleigh cribs – $1390 each
Glam Gliders for JLo and Skeletor – $1420 each
Changing table – $1780
Italian leather and snake skin diaper bag – $1250

If this windfall of prospective gifts doesn’t cover JLo’s expenses for the twins, no worries. Jen is reportedly getting paid $6 million for her baby photos, which should keep the twins in solid gold diaper pins for awhile.
