Paris Hilton’s appearance money under scrutiny?

This story reminds me of the old adage, that it take makes money to make money. While sometimes Paris’s talents are a mystery to me she makes plenty of money “staring” in a movie every now and then, and being the face of product lines from fragrances to shoes. And of course there is appearance money. Rumor is that Las Vegas club Pure, which is being probed by the IRS, pays Hilton upward of $1.2 million a year to host parties and show up — and that club LAX also gives her a hefty six-figure sum every time she shows up. Both clubs deny paying Hilton. But with an IRS probe going on, if Paris is found to be getting income from these clubs without paying taxes, you know what happens next.
