Jennifer Lopez, 38, and husband Marc Anthony, 39, are the proud  parents of fraternal twins, a boy and a girl.

Lopez representative said the babies were born shortly after midnight at Northshore Hospital in New York’s Long Island with the girl was born at 12:12 a.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz. The boy followed at 12:23 a.m., weighing 6lbs.   It sounds like JLo was in labor and had the twins naturally considering that they were born ten minutes apart very late at night?

JLo’s rep in a short statement said: “Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon,”

Ending months of speculation, Lopez confirmed her pregnancy at a Miami concert in November. Her father, David Lopez, told Telefutura’s “Escandalo TV” earlier this month that the 39-year-old singer was expecting twins.

Lopez and Anthony, 38, married in 2004. The twins are her first children.  Marc’s children from previous relationships — Arianna, 13, Cristian, 7, and Ryan, 4.

People Magazine reportedly shelled out $6 million for the exclusive rights to publish the twins’ pics in the United States. OK! magazine will run them in their 15 international editions.
