Jamie Spears still rules Britney’s World

Posted on February 14th, 2008 by Hot Momma

Jamie Spears still rules Britneys WorldThe temporary co-conservator expired today, so Jamie Spears went back to court.  The Commish Reva Goetz’s decided to extend the co-conservators until March 10th.

The Commish has also called for a 730 evaluation, which she will hear the results of, at the next hearing. A 730 evaluation is usually done in a child custody case. It’s a study of the family and is used to figure out the best custody arrangements.

In a separate court, Bryan and lawyer Ivan Taback were granted temporary co-trustee powers to the SJP Revocable Trust, a trust “established by Britney to hold substantially all of her assets.”

The trust had been entirely in Brit’s name, however, according to the court files, other people can be added to the if the acting trustee “is under a legal disability or if by reason of illness or mental or physical disability, in the written opinion of two doctors then practicing medicine, he or she is unable to manage his or her affairs.”  Basically all that mumbo jumbo means is co-trustees can be added if the main trustee is mentally defective.  The family is circling the wagons to keep her from giving away the rest of her money to managers, boyfriends, and other con artists.

Speaking of Sam Lutfi, he still hasn’t been served with his restraining order. He’s hiding out. The next restraining order hearing is February 22nd and he must be served 48-hours before then.
