Lenny Kravitz hospitalized with severe bronchitis

Rocker Lenny Kravitz, 43, was rushed to the emergency room at a hospital suffering from “severe bronchitis”.
The “Are You Gonna Go My Way” hit maker was taken to a hospital in Miami, Florida, this Monday, weeks after contracting the influenza virus. His condition increasingly worsened, with a series of severe respiratory tract infections, Finally he developed the bronchitis, which causes inflammation in the lungs.
In a statement, Kravitz’ spokeswoman said: “Due to extreme dehydration and fatigue, doctors were unable to control it with outpatient treatment and advised the singer to check into the hospital.”
Although it is unclear how long he will be treated for, Kravitz has already postponed a trip to Europe to promote his new album, It Is a Time for Revolution, which was released last week.
