Actor Roy Scheider dies at 75

Roy Scheider well known for his role as Chief Brody in ”Jaws” died Sunday in Little Rock, Arkansas. His cause of death was not released, but a spokesperson from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences said Roy was being treated for multiple myeloma for two years. The two-time Oscar nominee  was 75, when he passed away. He was nominated for an Oscar for best-supporting actor in 1971′s The French Connection, in which he played the police partner of Oscar winner Gene Hackman and for best actor for 1979′s All That Jazz, the autobiographical Bob Fosse film.
