Rock frontman Scott Weiland enters rehab

Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland, went into rehab, Wednesday.  VELVET REVOLVER‘s management confirmed that Weiland “voluntarily entered a rehab facility” following the band’s February 6 performance in Los Angeles. And according to a band statement, last night’s show in San Diego had to be postponed. “Velvet Revolver deeply apologize to their fans and thank them for sticking by the group.”  No word on whether the bands Australian tour, which is set to kick off February 15, will be affected.

Recently Weiland the former Stone Temple Pilots singer was arrested on November 21, 2007 when he crashed his car while driving on an L.A. highway, allegedly while under the influence of drugs.
