Another Britney Spears lawyer bows out

We hardly knew him

Attorney Adam Streisand who Britney Spears lawyers’ allegedly hired to contest her father’s supervision of her and her dwindling $40-million estate has left the stage. The law firm Loeb & Loeb LLP issued the following message Thursday:

”At the request of Britney Spears, Adam Streisand, a Partner at Loeb & Loeb LLP, met with her yesterday to discuss her legal rights in connection with the conservatorship over her person and estate.

“Following that meeting, Mr. Streisand learned that the court had issued orders that prevent Ms. Spears from retaining counsel of her own choosing, and on that basis, Mr. Streisand has decided he will not represent her at this time.”

Spears, who somehow was released from a UCLA psychiatric ward on Wednesday, still has court-appointed counsel, attorney Samuel Ingham.

Meanwhile Jamie Spears’s power over his troubled daughter is for now still temporary. Jamie will likely attempt for permanent control, which, if granted, isn’t permanent anyway. But would only last until Britney is able to prove to the court that she is capable of managing her own affairs. Okay maybe it could be permanent.
