Rebecca De Mornay given probation for DUI arrest

Actress Rebecca De Mornay,was sentenced to three years’ probation on Tuesday after pleading no contest to drunken driving.

De Mornay best known for starring opposite Tom Cruise in the hit film “Risky Business,” was also was ordered by Superior Court Judge H. Chester Horn to enroll in a three-month alcohol-education program and pay fines, restitution and fees totaling more than $1,400.

The 48-year-old actress,was not in court for the hearing, which stemmed from her October arrest in Beverly Hills for driving under the influence of alcohol.   A second driving under the influence charge was dismissed, prosecutors said.
