Kim Kardashian accused of Credit Card abuse by Brandy Norwood’s mother

Kim Kardashian and her siblings are being sued by Brandy’s mother, accusing her of running up more than $120,000 in credit card charges without permission. In the lawsuit filed yesterday in L.A. County Superior Court, Sonja Norwood, the mom of Brandy and Ray J, claims in 2004, when Kim K was a stylist, she was given permission to use Sonja’s American Express card to make “one (and only one)” purchase on behalf of Sonja. The lawsuit also names Kim’s sisters and brother: Khloe, Kourtney, and Robert Jr. for allegedly using her credit card as well.
The suit claims in 2006, the Kardashian’s racked up $62,793.83 in unauthorized charges. And, in 2007, they blew another $57,841.82. The total: $120,635.65! The suit also claims the Kardashians charged thousands of dollars in their family-owned clothing stores, Dash and Smooch. The lawsuit is requesting for the money to pay for the charges plus 10 percent interest.
In response, Kim told People magazine that she and her sibs actually had permission to use the credit card. Kim said:
“We have her signature on all items.”
