Joss Stone prefers “Ugly” over “Runway & Royalty” at Red Dress Collection fashion show

Joss Stone was on hand as a front row spectator for the Red Dress Collection fashion show that kicked off the start of New York Fashion Week. She watched the models shimmy down the catwalk Friday for Laura Bush’s healthy heart campaign but wasn’t too impressed.
“I hated the modeling — it was so embarrassing!” she said. “I’d never do that again.
the 20-year-old British soul singer also saw Laura Bush and pulled no punches on her impressions:
“I saw the Bush lady” Stone said. “I care for American politics because it affects the rest of the world so much, but I just don’t really care for the Bush family,” Stone continued. “I’d actually met her before at the White House and it was like ‘Hey how are you,’ and then she was gone. I mean, to be fair, I guess she seemed like a nice enough chick, but I don’t really know.”
What did excite Joss was meeting actress, Ana Ortiz.
“I met Ana from ‘Ugly Betty!’” Stone gushed Saturday night. “I just love that show. I don’t really watch TV, but I download it and ‘Lost’ from iTunes.”
Joss Stone’s view of the world aside, Laura Bush’s speech at the show encouraging women to exercise to keep their hearts healthy shouldn’t be ignored.
