Lily Allen and Ed Simons break up

The UK Sun reports, Lily Allen has been “let go” by Ed Simons of the Chemical Brothers. Allen, who was carrying Simons’ baby, had a miscarriage only weeks ago and now she’s been kicked to the curb, so to speak. Reportedly, Lily and Ed tried to make their relationship work, but after a series of major fights Ed told her to bugger off (that’s English speak for get lost).
A source said, “They tried to make things work but couldn’t. The miscarriage was a horrible experience for both of them - and in recent weeks the mood between them had been really strained.”
Inspite of the Suns story, who knows why they really decided to split up and who really broke up with whom. The fact is Lily got pregnant a month after she started dating Ed, not usually the best way to begin a long relationship. Both seemed determined to make a go of it, but apparently the miscarriage was too much a hurdle to endure. Sad story but that’s life.
