The Coen brothers’ No Country for Old Men had a great showing at this year’s 14th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards.

Javier Bardem who won Outstanding Performance By A Male Actor In A Supporting Role for his chilling role as a killer in the picture, deciated his award to his directors, Joel and Ethan Coen.
Thank you, guys, for hiring me and thank you for taking the hard work of choosing the good takes instead of the ones where I really sucked.”

Josh Brolin also poked fun at Joel and Ethan upon accepting the Screen Actors Guild movie cast award for No Country for Old Men on Sunday night

“The Coen brothers are freaky little people, and we did a freaky little movie – whether you liked the ending or not.”

He also took time to tease co-star Javier Bardem who has been sweeping the award circuit, “This is Javier’s 497th award,” Josh Brolin quipped when accepting the cast trophy.
