Nicole Richie and Christina Aguilera two rooms apart but very different birth experiences

Nicole Richie and Christina Aguilera were only two rooms apart in the maternity ward at Cedars-Sinai on January 11. Nicole’s labor progressed quickly and she gave birth naturally to her daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden.
According to Star Magazine, which somehow had many intimate details of Nicole Richie’s labor and childbirth. Nicole, had an epidural to ease the pain after her water broke, and was calm throughout the entire labor, watching in a well placed mirror as her baby was born.
Star echoed the Enquirer’s claim (so it must be true?) that Nicole and Joel were fighting before the birth of their baby. But states that newborn Harlow brought the couple closer together and that they’re doing fine now. As for how Nicole is faring, Star says “she’s completely exhausted and cries at the drop of a hat.” Do you think they’re just guessing?
Nicole also allegedly sent a note to her laboring neighbor Christina Aguilera, wishing her luck. Christina meanwhile labored and pushed for a full 24 hours before a C-section was performed to deliver son Max Liron. So much for the scheduled C-section rumors.
A source close to Christina and husband Jordan Bratman explains, “Her water broke on Friday [Jan. 11] and she started having contractions. But then they stopped, so she was given a dose of Pitocin, which is supposed to increase the strength of contractions. But Christina never dilated beyond four cemtimeners.”
Although Christina, 27, was initially against delivering her baby by C-section, the source says, “She really wasn’t left with an option.”
