Lily Allen has had a miscarriage

Lily Allen, has lost her baby after returning home from a romantic holiday in the Maldives with boyfriend Ed Simons.
Her spokesman said: “We can confirm that Lily Allen has suffered a miscarriage. She and her partner Ed Simons will be making no further comment and we ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time.”
The heartbroken singer was eagerly looking forward to her first child and gave up her party lifestyle in order to be the perfect mom. Lily, 22, and boyfriend Ed Simons, 37, were last night being comforted by family and friends.
The couple have enjoyed a whirlwind romance since they began dating a few months ago. Lily who first saw Ed perform when she was a 12-year-old fan at Glastonbury festival with her comedian dad Keith. She fell for him at a Chemical Brothers gig in London’s Trafalgar Square in September 2007. And in December she was pregnant with her first child. Since then she had re-arranged her work schedule to fit around the birth.
