Young actor Brad Renfro found dead

25-year-old actor, Brad Renfro, has died. Renfro reportedly was found dead Tuesday at a Los Angeles apartment where he spent the night drinking with friends. Renfro was heard snoring overnight, but friends called 911 when he was found not breathing later Tuesday morning. Paramedics declared him dead at the scene at about 9 a.m. The cause of death has not been determined, yet, but Renfro had a history of drug abuse.
Renfro who had starring roles in “The Client” and “Apt Pupil”, has had a rough time personally since moving to from Tennessee to Los Angeles. His parents split, and he did not have real guidance from adults as he tried navigating the treacherous movie industry. Renfro had been previously convicted of several drug offenses, including attempted heroin possession. Renfro, had been working diligently to stay clean, especially since this summer, according to sources.
Renfro had been filming a movie with Winona Ryder and Billy Bob Thornton. The movie, “The Informers,” just wrapped, sadly it’s going to be his last film.
