Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows to be two-part movie

Posted on January 14th, 2008 by Hot Momma

Good news fellow Muggles!  It’s double the fun for fans (we hope) and double the money for the movie makers as the final Harry Potter film will be released in two parts.

J.K. Rowling’s seventh novel, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, will be released in two halves.

“There’s so much to fit that the view is the last movie should be in two halves,” a source tells the Daily Mail.

The Harry Potter books have gotten progressively longer with the first, the Philosopher’s Stone, having 223 pages while Deathly Hallows has 776 and fans have complained chunks of later novels have been left out of films.

Author Rowling points out on her website: “It is simply impossible to incorporate every storyline into a film under four hours long.”

No word yet from Warner Brothers on who will be director for the ‘last’ Harry Potter installment but big-names are being thrown about, even whispers of Steven Spielberg for the final film.
