Mariah Carey seriously disses J.Lo?

Mariah Carey seriously disses J.Lo?

Update: Mariah Carey insists that this quote did not, and would not, come from her:

“This is just some Internet gossip and it’s pathetic that people actually entertain the thought that this could be real,” Carey adds. “This is another sad example of two strong women being pit against each other.”

——————————————————————————

When Inside Hollywood asked Mariah Carey about rumors of a duet with Jennifer Lopez, the outspoken one had this to say:

“I’d rather be on stage with a pig — a duet with Jennifer Lopez and me just ain’t going to happen.”

Guess Mariah isn’t a J.Lo fan?

Gosh, but she sounds like a backwoods hick there.
    Sorry. Not a Mariah fan.

Yeah, i guess the stage wouldn’t be able to accommodate her ego. She needs to get over herself. I’m not a fan of either one of them, but c’mon, get some class.

Oh come on people this is obviously a rumor. I doubt Mariah would say anything to this degree. And i who should know her better a loyal fan or “Hot Momma Gossip”? Uh-huh Exactly.

Well I provided a link in the post to where the quote came from but who knows if it was taken out of context or not for sure? But keep in mind Jennifer Lopez and Tommy Mottola allegedly stole concepts and sample sections from Mariah Carey’s 2001 Glitter album. And I think Mariah has held a grudge about that.

I just emailed you guys and this is what it said:

    Ho Momma Staff,

This is a completely unfounded rumor that has been resurrected. It
actually started a few years ago and for some reason one tabloid decided to
bring it back to life now. Mariah never gave an interview to any US TV
show called “Inside Hollywood” nor did she give ANY interview where
she said the supposed quote about J.Lo. So it’s good to spread the word
    that it’s totally fake.

    Hello Laura,

I am sorry I upset you with this post. I did provide a
link in the post to where the quote came from but who
knows if it was taken out of context or not for sure.
I have to make a judgement call and that is why the
title of the post was stated with a question mark.
But keep in mind Jennifer Lopez and Tommy Mottola
allegedly stole concepts and sample sections from
Mariah Carey’s 2001 Glitter album. And I think Mariah
has held a grudge about that so I think there is
foundation for the quote. I think I am one of a
hundred that picked up on the story and if I see
Mariah or her rep deny it I will post that as well.
But in the meantime I do run a gossip column.

    Sincerely,
    Hot Momma Gossip

having foundation or not it is never correct to just assume something is true and then post/spread it as news it’s called slander…

Hmmmm a little quick with the rumors but a little slow with the retractions, eh?

Thank you Laura for trying to make people accountable for what they print!!! Glad to see some people write about what they KNOW~ and you should know MC has too much class to lower her self to say something like that.
