What I do know is that I was very concerned about the whirlwind courtship, conversion and marriage of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Having been married to an abuser (financial, verbal and physical) I can say that through counseling after I left my abuser is that most abusive relationships (AKA allowing others to control one's behavior) that most abusive relationships start out in a whilrlwind. It happens quickly and then the abused gets caught up in a relationship of wanting to be a people-pleaser. What concerns me is the personality Katie Holmes conveyed to the public before she met Tom Cruise and the one she conveys now. It's kind of creepy and "Stepford Wife" like.
