Hannah Montana has a body double
The Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus, aka Hannah Montana, jam together to the song “We Got The Party (With Us)”, during a concert in Atlanta, Georgia on the Best of Both Worlds Tour.  About two minutes and 40 seconds in, Hannah’s dancer in the green top pulls out a black sheet, covers Hannah up, and helps her through a side door underneath the drums.
Then the Hannah Montana ‘double’ comes out wearing the same pink sparkly coat and white boots and big white sunglasses! Notice how they avoid focusing a camera on the fake Hannah Montana. Was the real Hannah Montana doing a costume change? Was the Hannah Montana voice lip synched? How often is the ‘double’ really on stage.
I wonder why she would need a double in the first place.
But who cares. It supports my theory of her lip-syncing to something computerized.

hey its great that yal are standing up for her but seriously the people that cant “see ” it must be blind!! Its so true that she does that. I love her but you have to face the truth and sometimes the truth hurts. Just like with the jamie lynn thing. I love her i thought she was going to be diferent then her stupid older sister but i guess not.
Why is this even news??…she has already openly said she uses a double for 1 to 2 minutes at the end of that one song to allow a seamless costume change from Hannah into Miley…when did that become an unforgivable sin?? Even if she did lipsync…(and we all know a LOT of pop stars DO…especially if a lot of dancing around is involved)…she’s bubblegum entertainment for tweens (who probably don’t even care)…NOT teens or adults.
Touring is very hard work…watch the behind the scenes stuff for any concert tour DVD of any band/musician…it is very physically demanding and an enormous strain on your voice if you have to sing night after night. Plus she’s only a teenager…touring across the country and the world is not all fun and games…so I’m inclined to cut her some slack.
I know she lip-syncs because no one can run around stage and dance around and not be out of breath. I sing myself and I know what it’s like, you run out of breath and on occasion, your voice cracks and sometimes you can’t hit a note. Most of Hannah’s stuff is lip-synced. Although, Miley does have a good voice, but she doesn’t sing it live on stage.
I am ashamed of Miley Cyrus. If you look closely at 2:30 a male dancer in a green shirt was holding a black sheet behind his back and when Hannah runs into the secret door, the man throws the curtain over Hannah. Why would she come out wearing glasses? As you can see, her double doesn’t look at the audience what-so-ever. At the end of the song, she faces the dancers and has her arm over her face. People payed about $2,000 to see a fake. That’s just terrible! Miley should know that her fans would wait 2 up to 5 minutes for her to change and warm up her voice. She didn’t have to leave near the end of the song to go change. The fans would’ve waited for her. I am disappointed. As you should know, she is not the only pop star who lipsyncs. Many younger artists do as well. It is tough work when you are warm. You can lose your voice. Cut her some slack on that. But I am disappointed she has a fake and people pay a fortune to see her.

Hannah Montana a.k.a. Miley is one of the only good models left to young girls. If two minutes of an “act” ruined a concert for someone, I would say they are spoiled and ungrateful. I haven’t even been able to get into a concert becuase they sell out so fast, and I would have been more than happy to see her perform with or without a body double to make the show fun! Everyone these days is in such a hurry to point out everything bad about everyone else. Grow up.
Why does Hannah Montana have a double? People pay good money, and they come for a double…People want to see the realy poeson. It’s like you going to her concert, and the whole thing was a double! It’s not fair. I was at her concert before, and she was in big, white sunglasses. I wonder if that was her double…?

i went to the concert and they play this song just before she changes to miley and then the jonas brothers take over while she finishes changing. who cares that she has a double? they glue that wig to her head so it has to take a ton of time to change. its all part of the allusion of being two different people. when shes just changing outfits and not people she has her dancers dance around for a while so its not like the double’s out there more than once. as to the lip syncing, they play the recording behind her so she can take a break if shes out of breath from all of the dancing. at some points i could tell it was the recording but it was mostly her cause her voice sounded a little bit raspier and there were a few wrong notes, but nobody’s perfect. its seriously no big deal.

I agree . . . it is a HUGE dissapointment. Doesnt hannah realize that she has young children who look up to her as their role models? I definately think that a 15-year-old girl could jump into her costume faster. and, she could have made it not so obvious. Let’s face it, a lot of pop stars have to do it. But, she could’ve had the jonas brothers play or something. I know that her “ppl” could have been a little more creative. as for lip-syncing, i think we all know that, well, everyone does it. Im sure it is to her own voice. The thing that concerns me is, if she did the switch there, from herslef to a fake, is that the only time? Or, does that fake hannah get out on stage a lot more than we are aware of.
I think that Hannah Montana should be dropped completely. She should just be Miley Cyrus and always REALLY SING. When she gets older, she’ll regret being known as Hannah because thats all she’ll be known for. I don’t doubt that she can sing (even though its nothing special), but she should show off what she has and always sing live.

you try doing a concert, running and siging IS NOT the easiet thing in the world! go try it! plus she needs time to make the concert worth while! she cant just let you sit in your seats for a while so she can get all done up.
Performers get paid to perform there is no slack to be giving. teen or no teen we have lowered the bar for performers. Butch walker says it best, if you don’t know who he is look him up he writes for a lot of thes pop stars.” he says he might not always hit the right note or he might forget some of HIS LYRICS, but it is always him singing. . Hell could you imagine Elvis lip syncing or the Beatles did do you think they would of been so important. When you allow this you actually take from the performer and from the young ones that idol them. Nothing good comes from lying the only way I would be ok with cutting some slack is if they promoted it as lip syncing and they printed that on the ticket. my niece watches hannah and she was sad to find out that she is, in her words;”A fakey singer”. and she says that Hanna in the video does not change into Miley or what ever that means.
Guys she admitted to doing that, but it was only for that one song. She had to do it so she could make the transiton from Hannah to Miley a bit faster and so that she wouldn’t leave the audience waiting. She was still singing from back stage. Both her and her representatives said that she performed live during the entire show.

Teenage singer/actress MILEY CYRUS has confessed to using a body double during concert performances so she has time to make costume changes. The star was caught out by eagle-eyed fans who spotted a lookalike onstage during a recent show on the sold-out Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana Best Of Both Worlds tour. But the 15-year-old’s representative insists a double is a necessity of the performance, telling OK! magazine, “To help speed the transition from Hannah to Miley, there is a production element during the performance of We Got The Party incorporating a body double for Miley. “After Hannah has completed the featured verse on the duet with the Jonas Brothers, a body double appears approximately one to two minutes prior to the end of the song in order to allow Miley to remove the Hannah wig and costume and transform into Miley for her solo set. “Other than during this very brief transitional moment in the show, Miley performs live during the entirety of both the Hannah and Miley segments of the concert.”
