Dr. Phil thinks Jamie Lynn Spears is a good mom?

Dr. Phil McGraw, TV psychologist, or plays a psychologist on TV? If it’s later I think he just gave himself away.  Speaking out to support Lynne Spears despite the criticism she has received for the way she has parented Britney Spears and Jamie Lynn Spears, Dr. Phil told People:

“We know the Spears family, particularly the parents. An asset that Britney and Jamie Lynn both have is a great and dedicated mother.” “troubled right now” but is “really looking for the positives in this.” As her daughters live under the glare of public scrutiny and criticism, Lynne has “her feet squarely and solidly on the ground,”

Dr. Phil’s quotes were made at a holiday party in Beverly Hills and in fairness maybe he had already had a few drinks, I don’t know.  But I say to Dr. Phil, ‘get real’.
