Britney Spear’s phones home to scold her Mom

Perhaps Lynne Spears should put this little incident in her upcoming ‘parenting book’. What should a mother do when her kids think she has failed them. Oldest daughter Britney, gave her mommy dearest, Lynne Spears, a phone call and read her the riot act after receiving the news of Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy on Tuesday, according to a pageSix.com source. The phone call apparently lasted several minutes and Britney did most of the talking.
“Britney basically went off on her the entire time, blaming her for her and Jamie Lynn’s messed up life,” says the insider. “It was a very hurtful call.”
Britney, and mother Lynne have been mostly estranged since February, when the family forced her into Promises rehab facility against her will.
“Britney feels like they have all abandoned her in her time of need,” says the source. “She felt, and still feels, completely left out of the family.”
And perhaps the war between Britney and mom has just begun. Britney reportedly does not allow her parents from seeing their grandsons, Sean, 2, and Jayden, 1 (though Kevin Federline lets them visit when the children are in his custody). It’s a decision that may drive a further wedge between mom and daughter once her niece or nephew is born.
“Because Lynne has been refused visits with Britney when she has the boys, Lynne will make sure she has more control over Jamie Lynn’s baby,” a family insider tells PageSix.com.
Doesn’t sound like the Spears family will be breaking bread together this Christmas. As the new year approaches, Britney appears to still be a mess needing serious help getting her life in order. It keeps becoming more apparent though how mother Lynne Spears parenting skills played such a big part in this drama.
